Grandkid Pics - Home from Indiana

 Lucy, two weeks old
Don't you wonder what  life will be like for a child born in 2014.

Good morning, blogger friends! It's good to be home, but it was hard to leave those sweet grandkids in Indiana, knowing it will be a while before we get to see them again - and Lucy especially will have changed so much in the interim. Good thing we have Skype and cell phones and text messages with photos!

Thank you to all of you for the nice wishes for us while we were gone. Now I have a lot of catching up to do, for I did nothing online during the 6 days we were gone. It was wonderful to have a little time to spend with the new little one and her family. She seems to be a very contented baby, and you can see that the big brother enjoys his little sister, and I think only a few times has suggested that they take Lucy back to the hospital. :-)

 Having a picnic with Grandpa

Since I'm still using a cane, he needed a walking stick too.

Time to get busy around here. Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! I just had to post a few pics of the Indiana grandkids. Did you expect anything less?

What a sweet gift from God she is. Skype, Facetime, and texting of photos help ease the separation from loved ones. Welcome home. I can't wait for our little one to be born, only 22 more days.

Those are the most precious photos. That little guy using his cane because you had too...it touched my heart. How did you not cry, or did you? I am so glad you enjoyed your visit. The weather wasn't so bad till yesterday. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

Welcome back! Just look at how sweet little miss Lucy is! And her big brother is pretty cute too. How I understand how hard it is to leave. But like you I am soo grateful for all the quick ways there are to keep in touch. My daughter sends me sometimes several pics a day. I LOVE it. Enjoy your day!

They are just precious Judy. It's so hard to leave them behind isn't it. What a sweet photo of your grandson cradling his baby sister. I'm sure he will grow to love and protect her in time. Have a blessed Easter weekend.
