Reflections of Indiana

When we were in Indiana, visiting our daughter's family after the birth of sweet little Lucy, we took several short walks with our grandson. The snow had melted there, resulting in quite a few places with standing water. They made great reflections of the beautiful blue skies and leafless springtime trees.

And look who's taking advantage of the newly-formed 'fishin' hole' - the other fireman in the family. I suspect he didn't catch much to take home to dinner, especially considering that it was just a run-off spot. But hey, you've gotta start somewhere! Consider it practice for when he's an adult: long days sitting on the bank of a river or in a boat and catching nothing. But enjoying every minute of it.

The other fireman in the family

Doesn't every little boy dream of being a fireman?

Great reflections. The excess water set up some good shots for you. He is a sweet fireman already.

Yup, that's definitely home right now, we're in the height of mud season!
Beautiful reflections, but I must admit my favourite is the wee fireman and his pole. I'm sure in his mind he caught a 'mess' of fish for Grammy to cook for supper. =)

Your little firefighters are so cute! I like the spring reflections in the puddles. There are lots of them around these parts now. And still lots of snow and grey skies.

Those are GREAT reflections, Judy! Wow- you have a really good eye. Love you little fireman. Is there anything much cuter than that? I know you miss the kids- our baby is home now, too, and I am missing her sweet little presence. Hope you have a good day! xo Diana

In reflecting on your reflections, I particularly like the third one though they are all good. (hey, a nice set of notecards!) Such fine young firemen! I take note of their boots. :-)
