Family Time

A special thank you to my blogging friends for your kind words and prayers for our family during the time of my dad's funeral. I appreciate your support so much.

Because it was also Christmas time, we have had the blessing of family around us. I decided to post just pics of the grandkids, taken in the past week. (Yes, those old people in the collage are my husband and me.)

In spite of the fact that we buried my dad, it was wonderful to see the extended family, who came from as far away as Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA; Costa Rica; Denver, CO; Plymouth, IN; Walker, MN. We have a great family if I do say so myself so even in the sad circumstances of our gathering, we enjoyed our time together.

And now, after having totally neglected all of you during the past week, I'm looking forward to reading your blogs!!

Judy

  1. How lovely you are, Judy, and I'm so happy to have a name for my Yankee friend in blogland. And what a beautiful family of grandkids. I do love grandkids. God is so gracious to bless us with those wonderful little ones who make us feel so very special, isn't He? I'm thankful you had family with you during this time. Happy New Year!

  3. I am so sorry for your loss. It's times like this that we count our many blessings, especially the blessings of being surrounded by family.

Your grandkids are beautiful and adorable! The collages are pretty easy to make. I just use Picasa (it's a free software program), although I just got Photoshop for christmas so I can't wait to figure out how to use that.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

  6. It's great to see you again. I am pleased that you had the extended family around for their love and support. From what you say, they don't live nearby which makes this family time a bit more special.

  8. OLD PEOPLE? WHAT? you aren't old people! Of course I don't know what age you guys are, but I know you guys are young at heart. and you defensively don't LOOK or ACT old. :) you have beautiful grandchildren though, and you're "neglection" is understandable. :) Merry (late) Christmas
