I nearly took a picture of daffodils coated in snow on Monday! But we only got less than 1", and by the time I got out of work the snow had melted. Welcome to Spring up north!!!
Snow for you, thunderstorms for us. It was 88 degrees yesterday evening. This morning it's cool. We all went into the hall with mattresses because of the tornado warnings, which didn't come to fruition. Our neighbor lost most of a tree, though.
Isn't it crazy! We were also suppose to get snow, but didn't. There was about 2" on Monday morning though. I was a little worried about my daffodils, it didn't seem to bother them. It was a very beautiful snow, stuck to all the trees like frosting. Just not something we would like to see in April!
Isn't this weather absolutely annoying? I am so over it all, not to mention it is causing us to fret a bit with not one seed planted in the ground. Sigh.... what's a farm girl to do?
Hi! And thanks for stopping in at Cranberry Morning. I love reading your comments and visiting your blogs. Love that global warming.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title of your post I thought--Uh Oh, Judy must have gotten snow!
