Love the pictures! And they reminded me, I've wondered for a long time about these round bales of hay. When I was a kid living in the midst of farm country, the bales of hay were rectangles (I think called "small squares") about 14x18x36. When did they start making round bales?
I don't know when those huge bales came in. Maybe 10 years ago? But now there are huge rounds and huge rectangles, some wrapped in plastic. The rounds, at night, if you squint, look like a herd of buffalo.
Lovely natural countryside photos. Apart from the shape of the barn, these are scenes that I am very familiar with except perhaps ... the herd of Buffalo. I suppose I need to be in the right place at the right time for that view. Here they tend to be wrapped in black plastic and stacked in a sort of 2 dimensional pyramid.
