The Word Became Flesh

Adoration of the Shepherds
by Gerrit Van Honthorst, 1592-1656

'But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.' John 1:12-14

Have a very Merry Christmas!  In Jesus Christ, we have hope and a future!

  1. We had a wonderful Christmas, even without the snow this year. The girls have been out for over an hour riding their new bikes, so I can't be asking for much more! Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year!

  6. I LOVE the Hallelujah chorus! When I was in high school I took a music appreciation class and our teacher took us all to dinner and to see the Messiah at Bass Concert Hall in Austin. It was so awesome!!
