My Christmas cactus
that evidently has not looked at the calendar
Right now, my Christmas cactus has more blossoms on it than it did at Christmastime. It's a real treat to have so many gorgeous blossoms on an indoor plant. It helps make February more tolerable.
Today is the last day of my Hope of Spring 25% Off Sale on all my homemade soaps at Homemade Soap'n'Such. So hurry on over. You won't want to miss this, and the sale ends at midnight tonight.
Awwwhhh... you didn't realize I had the power to resurrect cactus from all the way in Arizona, did you :) lol
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers on the Christmas cactus. My father had several and they seem to bloom when they have a mind to. Beautiful. I received my soap order yesterday, can't wait to use it. It smells so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful plant! I once had a Christmas cactus that burst into beautiful blooms on my birthday in January! I always remember that as being quite a unique birthday surprise.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. :)
I just placed my order for two bars of peppermint tea soap!!! :) I hope you have some in stock. If not, just email me and I can pick another one!!

ReplyDeleteYour Christmas cactus is beautiful! Mine always used to bloom @ Thanksgiving. You must have a "Valentine's Cactus!"-lol!
ReplyDeleteIn California, Christmas Cactus have a habit of blooming whenever they please, could be Easter or July 4th even!
ReplyDeleteI had a Christmas cactus for years. It bloomed several times a year and even I couldn't kill it : ) I had to give it away when we moved overseas. I should add one to this house.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
So funny because my mom had a Christmas cactus that didn't know when it was Christmas either! Really pretty though! Hope you have a nice weekend!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower! My grandmother always had those ^_^

I'm so jealous that you get to see those beautiful blooms at any time! My mom always had Christmas cactus but that is one plant I just can't get to grow. I can't tell you how many she gave me that I murdered! Actually, it got to be a joke everytime she would start me a new one!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you took a picture of my Christmas cactus! It's blooming again! That's twice in just a couple of months.
ReplyDeleteMy soap arrived and I'm so excited. And I have promised myself that I will not keep them but give them as gifts. I could easily become a hoarder of your soaps! LOL
Great Photo!
ReplyDeleteI received my soap today. Love The Subtle Rose! Thank You!
So gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite colors. Send blossoms out to those huddled inside.
ReplyDeleteI am envious of your beautiful Christmas cactus. I had one and it actually bloomed once for me but haven't had much luck since then. I think they must have a mind of their own and bloom any ole time they please. Enjoy those gorgeous blooms as long as you can!------- Shannon
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog - what a darling title! I love your Christmas cactus photo. It gives me hope for spring!
ReplyDeleteYour cactus is beautiful! I have a small one that I'm babying along, hoping to grow into a large plant. My mother's blooms twice a year, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Mine celebrates Christmas at Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't it beautiful! Just the thing to look at in the midst of the cold, grey, dreariness ....
ReplyDeleteI wondered what I was going to find here on this post. As I opened it, I couldn't help laughing at the opening phrase.
ReplyDeleteI have a Christmas Cactus on the back dining room window sill and although it can't see the calendar from there, I believe it has the ability to look around corners !!
