  1. This post made me laugh! Look at Misty's face...she is not amused is she. Bridgier on the other hand looks like he could stay out all day. (well until he got hungry) Tuppence just wants to be petted and then she is happy, happy. You have such nice pets! :-)

  6. Hi Judy,

    Nice pets you have there. Bridgier seems happy about the snow ^_^ - I agree with the cat though...wouldn't mind just to lay someplace where it's warm and cozy until the spring comes. Love Misty's sweater.
    Enjoy your weekend!

  7. Isn't it funny the way some dogs dig the snow with their nose. Ours used to freeze his nose!!

  8. Funny how different pets react to snow. I've had dogs who love it, dogs who don't seem to notice it, a cat who would walk in it and shake his foot at each step, and a cat who would take one look from the door and turn up his nose.

  10. awww! so cute! you "nailed" those quotes! the cats we took in as ferals (3) are smart enough to stay away from the door....the ones who never had to fend for themselves in the cold (3) are fascinated by snow and want to get out there and explore...but nope! mommy and daddy won't allow it!

  13. They are so sweet! I'm sure they love winter more than hot July days. And your cat's name is Tuppence? Love it! Don't you want to name one Tommy, too?

    My first visit to your blog--drawn here by the wonderful name, but now I see the English architecture posts you've really won me over. Very pretty.

  14. Funny! Animals are just like people - some love it and some dislike it and some could care less what's going on in the world around them!!

  16. This post made me smile. My poor little Texas dog just hates the snow and has some of the most pitiful faces on the other side of the backdoor. I guess well loved pets are all the same.

  17. Just like human children ALL have there own personality. My kiddo loves winter and goes to college in our mountain area where it iced yesterday. My cat does not like cold. He tests the air with his nose and gives his approval or not:}

  20. I have seen that look on Bridgier's face on my own Bentley. He has been keeping his outside trips to a minimum.

  24. Thanks so much for your kind comment! Always good to meet a fellow pet lover! We have a goldendoodle, a pitbull rescue and a Boston rescue...and the neighbourhood stray cats always seem to find their way to our door.

    I am your newest follower. =)

  25. LOL! When we have snow, our cats think they want to go out in it, but as soon as we open the door they realize they don't. Luckily it has been a bit warmer here for the past couple of days, and they got to go out and roll around in the grass.

  28. Hahahahaha! Misty's expression looks like she really is thinking that! She and Tuppence would love winter down here. Bridger probably wouldn't...well, except for the beach. He might enjoying surfing. LOL The coldest we've been so far is 29. And NOT ONE SINGLE BIT OF SNOW. :(

  29. Oh are they cute and I love the captions underneath = you can tell their personalities. Misty is like Disco - get me out of the snow and the coat!!! I am like the cat - what winter - but then again, I am in GA.

    Loved it.
