Happy Birthday

Life Lessons From Grandpa

It must be tough to be little. Just when you think you've got it figured out, you now have to hold up three fingers instead of two - when people ask how old you are. Sigh. Life is so tricky.

We spent Sunday in the Twin Cities with our oldest son's family. Both Glenn (turned 3 on Sunday) and Grandpa (turns way-past 3 on Wednesday), were birthday boys.

How'd you do that again, Grandpa??

What could be better than John Deere Wellies!

To all of you who gave me much-relished sympathy over our horrid weather (more snow as I write), I want you to know that the forecast for the weekend is temps in the 60s. I think everyone in Wisconsin is overjoyed to know that spring, indeed, (contrary to all the current signs) is COMING!

After all, who would want to be anywhere other than Wisconsin in the month of May:

May

  21. Happy Birthday to the birthday boys! Glenn is a doll and I love those cute John Deere boots. JD was always the tractor of choice on my dad's farm way back when, so I'm a little partial to them. =) The collage is pretty, well except for the snake! Hope you have spring weather soon.

And I love love love the boots - oh, where were those when Jeremy was 3 and we decorated his room in a truck/car motif per his request??? We used to pack a picnic and go watch construction sites - he could name every kind of vehicle there was. Sigh .... I miss that ....

  26. Super duper! Looks very similar to our activities here in Ontario. We have the daffodils at last too.
Tomorrow it will be what I consider HOT. Our tree man will be here to repair ice storm damage... I love both Daddy and Grandpa pictures!
