Mmmmmm. Hummus!
Hummus on chip.
'Wait!'
'Good Wait.'
'Okay!'
(Faster than a speeding bullet...)
GULP!
Funny, but I react the same way to too much hummus.
And what you see in that photo is the dog who claimed my bed, my little bed that was set up in the schoolroom in January, so I could sleep there until my hip was ready for stairs climbing. See the basket? That's where I kept my Kindle, my phone, my mixed nuts and GF crackers, and a few odds and ends of books and magazines. It was so handy!
Kevin suggested that, since I now sleep upstairs again, we return the bed to the guest room. I'm not so sure. It's so nice to have that comfy bed nearby to catch a few Zzzzzzz. When it's available, that is.
P.S. Don't worry, no animals were harmed in the making of this post, nor were they fed too much hummus. But she sure liked it!

Great photos!! I think you need to leave that little bed right where it is...too many of you are still enjoying it there! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd leave the bed where it is.. i mean like you said.. it's a great place for you (or anybody/any animal) to catch some z's :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a napping place quite handy! Smart dog, liking his hummus!
ReplyDeletelooks like that bed has been 'claimed' by a sweet hummus eater and needs to stay where it is...
ReplyDeleteWhere did he sleep when the bed was not there, so funny. Glad you are doing so much better. blessings on this first day of spring. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteso very cute!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like your hummus tester will allow you to remove "his" bed. LOL
ReplyDeleteVery Cute!
ReplyDeleteYour dog knows all the comfy places in your home.
ReplyDeleteMy mom had her hip done a while back and they keep a bed downstairs now too. My father was telling me how his dog likes the spot by the window, and gets upset if my father takes it first.
ReplyDelete♡ xoxo
Love your adorable hummus tester! I make hummus quite frequently and have to eat it all by myself (unless we have company) because my husband doesn't like "mushy foods" -- silly man! Glad you're able to do stairs again.
ReplyDeleteCute dog and post.
ReplyDeleteYou hav3e a beautiful dog and she looks so happy in "her" bed.
ReplyDeleteI love hummus and make my own. It is actually pretty easy!
ReplyDeleteI love love love LOVE HUMMUS!
ReplyDeleteYour bed seems wonderful too - lol.
Cute post.
ReplyDeleteI think a comfy bed on the first floor is a splendid idea. We have one.
ReplyDeleteLOL- Hey- that pup can have my share. I know- it's sad but I do NOT like humus-lol I have tried it several times and I would just as soon eat School Paste (OH! remember that?) on cardboard.
ReplyDeleteI like that little bed there..and so does at least one fur person in your life- xo Diana
Cute dog hehe...glad to have things back to normal i imagine. Happy friday and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI like hummus very much too. And its healthy..even for your buddy. I like that big world map....alot. And the daybed sounds perfect to me. Didn't a lot of kitchens way back when have a daybed tucked on one wall of the kitchen or somewhere handy? As I'm older...a little rest comes in handy. =)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, looks like my house, where our little doggies claim the bed and I wake up cramped....LOL
ReplyDeleteOur four legged friends never say no to a little treat or a snooze in a comfy corner (someone's else preferably!)
ReplyDeleteSounds as if you are now on the mend, happy for you!
