Waiting...

Being her best patient self

When it's warm out (like two days ago, not today), I like to eat lunch on the front porch. Jazzie loves to go out with me, hoping that I'll drop another tidbit of chicken onto the floor for her. I do. She's rewarded for her patience. Good dog!

Hope you have a nice, warm Saturday!

  1. Our Kane loves his 'share', too. Our dog has been raised on 'people food' and does very well fed from our meals. Jazzie looks like a nice, friendly dog. Love the view from your porch. Enjoy your weekend, Judy. Deb

  6. I am hoping for warm but I am not as patient as your dog. I don't think it will be warm. Great photo of your dog, border collie I would say.

  11. Jazzie is such a beauty! Lovely, lovely girl. Our four have been taught they can be near the table when we eat, but not under our feet and definitely no begging. Can you imagine what a madhouse it would be otherwise?! They are, however, allowed to clean up the occasional accident, for which they wait patiently and appreciate fervently. Once in a blue moon they might even be given a tidbit.... after the meal is finished and away from the table, lol.

It's warm here today - and stormy, very very stormy. There goes the garden work!

  15. Jazzie looks like a mamma's girl and sharing is certainly expected by my guy too. :-) We had a great day for our garden club plant sale and BBQ, rain came down in buckets for a short while right near the end.
    Wishing you a peaceful Sunday.

  17. Eighty-eight and humid here. Meh. Hey! Don't goats make a sound like that?

Check out the new template on my blog, please? I searched for one that said it worked great across all viewing platforms. Easier to find comments?

  23. I cannot eat anything without the long snout of a dachshund practically in my plate, waiting for a morsel of anything! What would do without these little beggars? Hope you are having an enjoyable weekend :)

  25. We did have a lovely warm and humid Saturday, the kind of day that looks so nice until you try getting out to enjoy it. Managed to get the lawn mowed before the rainy, cool weather arrives. It is cooler this early Sunday morning, but the humidity is so wretched that John insisted on putting the AC on to get the humidity out of the air.

I miss my grandpug lying around. He certainly was great at hoovering. I hardly had a crumb in the house while he was here.

  26. My dog's name is Jazz! We often call him 'Jazzy'. And your Saturday morning sounds delightful. We are usually up and out to the market. And we never get enough time to sit and enjoy our sunroom.

  27. Jazzy looks like a great dog! We think about getting another one one day but I don't know if it will happen. Glad you are following our book club! Did you give Mom your email address so she can send you a formal invite to post book reviews, or do you want to just follow the reviews others post? Either one is fine. We are glad to have you!

  31. What a sweet dog. I haven't been by in a while, and I noticed your new picture. (well, maybe you've had it up for awhile . . . but I'm noticing hair a lot these days as I'm transitioning to my natural color. If my hair ends up as pretty as yours I will be very happy!
