Oooh, Bridges...My Favorite!
Along the Trail
We often see women from UWBC (University of Wisconsin Barron County) walking two by two, visiting as they walk briskly along the trail. Mr. C. calls them 'Walkie Talkies.' Mr. C. and I are more like 'Walkie Thinkies.'

ReplyDeleteGood morning, Judy! Lovely scenic shots of the river and trail. I guess my hubby would be the walkie talkie and I am the walkie thinkie. Thanks for taking me along on your walk. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty views. I love walking along the water. Walkie Thinkies, that's funny.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of you and Mr. C being "walkie thinkies." :)
ReplyDeleteWhether you think or talk this trail looks like a wonderful place to walk, great bridge captures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful walking pics!! Love the term, walkie talkies! I guess my hubby and I are walkie thinkies too and once in awhile walkie talkies. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.cm
Gorgeous photos, Judy.
ReplyDeleteI love either one, walkie talkie or walkie thinky and even walkie looky. I love the bridge shots, with all those LINES.. great photos and beautiful place to do any walking at all or even sitting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of a beautiful walk!
ReplyDeleteSuch a peaceful place to walk, Judy. Love the comment about walkie talkies and walkie thinkies! I like to be both on our walks! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love "walkie-talkies"!! Cute! You live in such a beautiful place...except in the winter! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely views! What a place to be a Walkie Thinkie, it reminds me of being in Marine on St. Croix! I love walking that area too, but I'd rather be a Walkie Thinkie than a Walkie Talkie there! Love those terms.
ReplyDeletewalkie-talkies made me laugh. lovely area with clear air! (pre-bug, at least). love the reflections and thanks for the fencing!
ReplyDeleteWalking is the time of day when my husband and I have time to talk so I guess we are walkie talkies too Judy!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty area to walk. All your photo's are great!
ReplyDeleteI bet it's just as beautiful in the winter also. Always better without mosquitoes.
ReplyDeleteJudy, love your pictures of the bridge and the beautiful blue water. I'm a "walkie-talkie".
ReplyDeleteA lovely walking trail - nothing like that here. I tend to be a Walkie Clickie, as I am always snapping photos. ;o)
ReplyDeleteLove it -- I was transported! Mr D and I are more "Walkie Thinkies" too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place for a walk. Goegeous photos. I would be a "walkie-thinkie-clickie" but I'd rather be alone. It ia great way for me get my quiet time in and snap a few pics along the way :)
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly a pretty place to walk! Love Mr. C's description of the ladies...and your description of the two of you. :) I am not sure what my husband and I would be. It would probably depend on the day.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful trail area. Lucky you! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful place! I would be the walking thinker and my husband would be sure the walking talkie. Which he proves on each walk we go on. No matter if it is down the street or the most peaceful nature trail!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeletebeautiful reflections and fences
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteI love it- walkie talkies and walkie thinkies. My sister and I fit in that first category. Beautiful place, and sorry about that mosquito season..we are right in the middle of that and it's awful.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I am more of a walkie thinkie too. That is a beautiful walk.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely area to take a walk and (think or talk).
ReplyDeleteIt is such a beautiful area in which you took some great photos.
ReplyDeleteI can almost taste the cool fresh air in your photos. The river views are so inviting.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI like that, Walkie Thinkies. :-))
We enjoy walking the trail too. I think they plan to expand to the North. What I like so much about it, is you do not need to worry about getting run over by a car. ;-)
Molly our Boston Terrier loves the trail too, new smells! LOL

What a lovely place to walk. I am more of a walkie thinkie too. If I tried to walk and talk at the same time I would probably trip over my own feet and hit the pavement. LOL xo Laura

ReplyDeletehappy Thursday.
I'm a walkie-stumbler sometimes....LOL I got a real kick out of the walkie-talkies, and walkie-thinkies. Thanks for that laugh.

What a wonderful area, great pictures!! I'm still chuckling over the 'Walkie Talkies.' Too cute!! Walkie Thinkies, me too!
ReplyDeleteI love the perspective of a lot of your images this time 'round Judy!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd such a beautiful area....so pristine and, "quiet" I'm sure. A place to go and relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery.
Before the mosquitoes...point well taken. My own yard is pretty mosquito clear, but walks elsewhere...ai yo yi. I'm wearing lemon balm or, if all else fails, Icy Hot. Kills two birds with one stone. I like the description of the walkie talkies...made us laugh.
ReplyDeleteai yo yi? I kind of like that, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place...and beautiful photos!
ReplyDeletePerfect takes. Beautiful!
