Saturday's Critters

Tuppence in her favorite pose

As soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning, Tuppence moves into my spot on the bed and spends most of the day there.  During the night, she prefers my pancake-thin pillow and grudgingly gives me only a wee corner of it.

  1. Good morning, cute shot of your Tuppence. I used to have a yellow lab that would lay above my head and pillow. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

  2. That is too funny, Judy. Tuppence is adorable. We used to have a cat that slept on the bottom of the bed. I like to poke my foot out from under the covers if I get too warm. Mr. Midnight would NIP my toes every single time my foot slipped out from under the covers. Talk about a rude awakening...lol xo Diana

Our cats like our bed, too.

  4. Sounds like Tuppence will be a head warmer in the winter Judy. At least my dog likes to sleep by my feet and if I'm too active he leaves for him own little doggy bed.

  8. My Onyx used to be my pillow pal. I miss him. The three we have left don't like to cuddle.

  9. Dogs have owners, but cats have staff.

  10. Before I developed a severe allergy to cats, Sir Thomas Munchalot was my pillow pal. We'd rescued him from the side of a busy highway before he was weaned (his mother and siblings were not so fortunate) and I fell asleep every night to the sound of him busily sucking his paw. The paw-sucking lasted the rest of his life and I missed it so much when he died that it took me months to be able to fall asleep easily.

  12. Ah your kitty is a sweetie. During the summer mine spends her time at the foot of the bed, avoiding the overhead fan. Now that the fan's off, she's all over me....

  17. So sweet!! Reminds me of our cat, he likes to do the same, each time we move he has to jump in our spot or find a place where the sunlight is streaming through. Have a lovely week.

    Blessings,
    Jill

  18. Such a sweetie! She looks a bit like my kitty but Stormy is more white. She likes to sleep with me (what's a little cat hair? lol!) and always has to be on the side that I'm facing with her head on my arm. If she wants to be petted or talked to, she'll reach a paw out and tap my face. She is a spoiled girl.
