Wisconsin Barns and Good Fences

 Red Barns in April
Melvina, WI

Fence in Leon, Wisconsin...

...which is right next to this treehouse!...

...which is not too far down the road from this barn.

I'm scheduling posts to publish this week, for we're in SW Wisconsin for a few days. I'm hoping to get around to visit, but if I seem absent, you'll know why.

  2. I think you should get an award for finding the most unique fence...and that spiderweb gate! I wonder is they decorate it with a huge spider at Halloween? Good find.

  6. awesome tree house.. and my favorite part of the first photo is the wonky window on the old barn... i am now wondering if there is a black widow living behind that gate... pretty cool gate and have never seen one like it

  15. The tree house is fabulous - a dream come true for some children.

Love the green grass and the red barn combination.

  16. I've noticed these photos are all on cloudy days. I think the red is striking against the grayness as well as the green. Color just doesn't show as beautifully in full sun, IMHO.

  17. I've never seen a tree house with the tree growing through the wall! Well maybe Swiss Family Robinson's tree house. The fence you featured is quite something. So much creativity. Lovely photos, dear Judy. ♥
