A Trip to the Vet Clinic

Today's the day: Tommy gets tutored. Collage above, in order of his age, starting at the lower right and going clockwise:

Shortly after the three kittens appeared on our deck.

Tommy balancing on the stack of baskets.

Tommy taking a snooze.

Tommy when I announced yesterday that he had an appointment with the vet.

Resignation: I found Tommy in the laundry basket, practicing for the time spent in the kitty carrier to and from the vet.

Don't look too smug, Smokey. You're next. (although we're still waiting for her to reach three pounds.)

 (Gary Larson)

I set it in the sunshine, put a snuggly bed in it,
and ignored it. Good boy, Tommy!
And off we go!

  2. Aw - bless his little heart. Even health-wise, this is for the best. "Good luck, Tommy. Try hard to forgive your loved ones. Tell Judy that after our Kanie-dog had his tutoring we went to Tim Horton's and he got two tim-bits for his trouble. lol

  8. You are a good mommy to Tommy, Judy. Though I doubt he'd admit to that! Happy Tutoring. ♥

  9. Gentle persuasion always is the best method. Looks like Tommy is pretty mellow in the carrier.

  10. Your kittens did turn out to be great looking cats. Our neighbor collects the cats in the neighborhood and takes them to see the Dr. whenever she can catch them.

  11. Just catching up my dear Judy! Loved the hodgepodge - as always - especially all the pics and your funny comments! ;)

Poor Tommy kitty! (loved the Gary Larson "tutored" funny). But a kitty Mommy has got to do what kitty Mommy has got to do.

Blessings on the weekend ahead. Stay warm!!!! xoxo

  12. That's probably the last time Tommy will hop into his crate so willingly; cats have long memories!

  14. I have probably mentioned Simon's Cat to you, but if not, look him up on Youtube....I have not seen anyone that didn't enjoy.him. He cracks my granddaughter up. Cat Man Do is the first one I ever saw and I have been hooked for years.

  15. Sly and sneaky....

He will forgive you, though. Those two are so cute and I'm so glad you decided to give them a home with you!

  19. Nothing to it and I am sure that even the memory will be vague soon. my daughter did ask the vet once about cat memory and he replied, "Let's look at it this way, I've never had one forget me." All the best!

  25. Poor unsuspecting Tommy, he won't want to go back to the vet after this session! My dog groomer is also a vet tech and she said there are plastic things to go over an indoor cat's claws, sure would save on the furniture.
