I'm still working on sorting, organizing, and pitching. It's a slow and grueling task, believe me, especially since we've been in the same house for 28 years. Little by little. I'm writing down goals for each day and hoping to get through it eventually.
Green. Such a beautiful color and one I'm especially missing these winter days.
I'm looking forward to a day spent with Mr. C. in St. Paul. It's nice to take a little break away from the usual scenery (as beautiful as that is).
A few winter pics, some of which you might have already seen.
And two of my constant companions:
Like little kids everywhere, Tommy & Smokey just love knock-knock jokes!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

I hear ya about cleaning/pitching stuff out...before we moved up here, I'll tell you, it was a job. Have a great day, friend.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to tackle our attic and garage and just toss some things Judy. My BIL got a small dumpster delivered to their house to allow them to just get brutal in tossing things.:)
ReplyDeleteI am counting the minutes until Spring, Judy. Love that barn. Have a great weekend. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI'm still tying to clean and throw also. We downsized to a smaller house a year ago and I'm still trying to find places to store what I need to keep, but have to get rid of things first.
ReplyDeleteawwwww on the yawning kittens. I would love to get away also, but not as long as we have Jake.. if I were not such a chicken, I could go by myself. have fun with hubby. I know what you mean, we are 3 months into our 28th year and the last 7 days I have been tossing. one trip to Goodwill and more coming soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great barn that one is with the green paint! I love it!!! The little kittens are just too cute both yawning at the same time. I know you must be as tired of winter as I am already...we are supposed to get more snow late this weekend. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the cleaning out and organizing, Judy. We've been in our home for 43 years and it's unbelievable all we have stored! Have a wonderful day out with your sweetie. Getting out in the winter is imperative. Such a cute photo of the kitties! xo ♥
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful photos and your peeks of May and flowers speak to my soul. And I want to snuggle those kitties!!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings on your weekend dear Gal. xoxo
I do love that pretty green barn! Love the kitty pictures more tho! They are do sweet and look so healthy and playful. Our boy kitty (tom smokey) and our girl kitty ( beckie marie) say happy weekend from Charleston way!
ReplyDeleteHow did we ever accumulate so much stuff! lol Yes I see the fur babies yawning but I'm sure that's a rare moment from when they're running around playing.
ReplyDeleteWell, I give you credit for at least going through the process! It is a wise thing to do while it can be a blessing and not a burden! We sure love our stuff LOL
ReplyDeleteHugs, Rox
Downsizing can be overwhelming! I need to get rid of more stuff but hate to drag stuff out and make a mess! lol Hope you have a good weekend and the weather is not too bad! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery and love those two little fur-balls! So funny how you got them both yawning, too! Aaaah - a cat's life......I've been reading so many blogs of people doing clear-outs and it is starting to inspire me to do the same. Did I say, 'starting'? That means I have to have a good think on it first. Haha! Taking that first step and getting down to the nitty-gritty is the hard part for me. I admire anyone who tackles this chore! Hope you get a chance to take a little break this weekend and do something fun. Hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteOh my...those laughing cats are hysterical. Love them and the green barb.
ReplyDeletePrecious kittens! Makes me want one of my own but I won't!
ReplyDeleteI've lived in my house for over 50 years now. I keep a bag going for Goodwill all he time!
Your winter pictures are beautiful. Texas winters are mostly just brown!
Hello Judy, I love you sweet yawning kitties. Cute capture. Beautiful winter scenes and lovely sky photos. Hubby and I downsized and had many trips to our local Goodwill center. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful green barn. You make it sound like you know each barn well, and you probably do having lived with the landscape for so long. I hope you had a good day up in the big city.
ReplyDeleteHope that the sorting and clearing keeps going well. Hard work, but worth it!
