A warm, sunny day, nice breeze, a picnic beside a beautiful river, grandkids, John Rutter on the Bluetooth speaker, no bugs.

2. What skill do you wish more people took the time to learn?
How to converse with people other than their own comfortable little circle.
3. What's something you ate as a child you can't stand now as an adult?
I can't think of a thing, although I don't eat as much sugar now as I did when I was a kid. I loved Slow Poke suckers that I think were invented by dentists to pull your fillings out.

Spending some time in Wausau with our daughter's family. Join me in Instagram @cranberrymorning. Please excuse any errors on this page. The post was done from my cell phone which was a real challenge.
Smokey is gorgeous! What a beautiful view of the water, and I love your quotes. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if we were on the same page titling our Hodgepodges this week! Actually, I had another title picked out but I pondered if I might offend someone by titling it "A Mother of a Hodgepodge"...at the very last minute I changed it! I love that photo of your daughter and the kiddos...so peaceful...and that awesome purple velvet bathtub is SO COOL! Enjoy the time with your family, Judy.
ReplyDeleteSmokey should be on a magazine cover. Don't tell him - I don't want it to go to his head. Enjoy your family time!! Happy Mother's Day, dear Judy.
ReplyDeletethis just might be the most beautiful of all your smokey photos. love it. i have not heard of John Rutter, so found the beauty of the earth on youtbue and listened to it while looking at your beautiful photo and it fits perfectly.. ingredients for perfect day for me is a day at any beach with sunshine and breezes. much like yours but different. i don't know if this is a skill but i want people to learn to drive without their cell phones
ReplyDeleteYou wrote this from you cell? I. Am. Impressed! Greatly! I hope you are enjoying your time with those grands as much as they're enjoying you. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day. I love the first picture - the people in it and the scenery! Gorgeous. I think the art of speaking is a good thing to want as well!!!!!!!!! We are losing it. That bathtub in purple - crazy! I enjoyed this. sandie
ReplyDeleteAs always, I love your pictures. The one with your daughter and grandkids is beautiful and love Smokey too. Hope you're having a great time with them.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
Fab pictures, Judy - especially the first and last ones. Sorry I've not been visiting as often as I'd like...not enough hours in the day!
ReplyDeleteI’m still pondering Chesterton and that velvet reading tub. 🙂
ReplyDeleteHappy visiting! Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷
Lovely pics as always Judy...happy Mother's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteDarling photo of your daughter and children! Looks like a wonderful spot to contemplate life.
ReplyDeleteThe reading tub sure looks cozy for the kids. And I adore the collection of Beatrix Potter books. I don't know how in the world you managed this post with your phone! I'm impressed. Have a lovely Mother's Day, my friend. ♥

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed! And glad spring is there. Do you have a small window of time without any bugs? Enjoyed seeing your BP books--I still have the covers on most of mine. Finally the grands are more interested in them. Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteLovely post and so impressed it was done from your phone. Mine was done on my ipad this week. It took me ages and it looked horrible. Well done you!
