Freedom

Romans 8:2  'For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.'

John 8:36   Jesus said, 'If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'

We only find true freedom when we turn from our sin, to the Savior.

  2. What I love about reading this is that we are instructed to focus on the wonderful, positive, glorious, beautiful and turn away from ugly, negative, demeaning, and terrible. If those aren't the best instructions for life, I don't know what is!

  5. Eneida's comment reminded me of Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
