Milk Bottle Nostalgia

Rainy Day in Askrigg

Just to let you know that I haven't dropped off the edge of the Earth, I decided to post this single photo, one of my favorites from Askrigg in the Yorkshire Dales. (How I love that area!) This post was inspired by Heide and her milk bottle collection. Please visit her at her blog, Apron History.  Don't you love her header!

It's a rainy day here in NW Wisconsin. I do see a few daffodils that are open, so that's encouraging. We may have springtime here after all.

  4. Somehow (quite by accident I assure you) I landed up with 4 of our English milk bottles from our front door delivery. Everytime I run across them in our cabinet they make me smile just like this post.

  5. I found six milk bottles at a garage sale in Barron a couple of years ago. I was so excited! I love to use them as vases.

  6. Too bad you aren't here for our garage sale in the morning. We have one of those milk bottles. And it's supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny. It was in the upper 40s on Monday. If we don't float away, it should be nice next week. 86 one day. Eat your heart out! :O)
