How I wish we could hang onto the blue waters and green grass of summertime. We're expecting rain to change to snow overnight. I'm happy for Carla. :-)

Tuesday morning update:

P.S. How on earth did I not 'Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November'!!! And a Guy Fawkes post HERE.  I need to pay more attention to my calendar.

  3. Those geese are cute to look at, but boy oh boy do they leave a mess on shore and on the docks. Like dodging land mines. Stay warm and safe as we begin our winter season!!!

  10. HI Judy do't bother looking at your calender because I prefer seeing birds. Love the little baby geese. So cute.

  11. Yes, there will be no geese or ducks around here this evening! The fireworks are in full swing and the bonfires are lit. Enjoy the rest of the week xx

  12. Someone else posted about ducks today! It's that time of year, I guess! My nephew, on FB, said happy Guy Fawks day - I had to look it up! LOL Familiar with the name, but forgot what it was about. Now I know!

  14. Yes, it's Guy Fawkes Day in Britain isn't it. Your pictures make me feel good with the sunshine, water and clover growing in the green grass. Ahhh, summer. Not to be seen for 6 more months!!

  15. Hi Judy,
We went to Spring Street Sports this weekend and got the boys all fitted for another great winter of x-c skiing. :-)
Spring Street Sports has a great youth program...helps a lot with growing boys...trying to keep up with ski boots.
Well of course, after getting all the ski stuff ready, we naturally started to pray for snow. ;-)
    xx oo
Thank you for mentioning me today.
    Love, Carla

  19. Do you play the game duck, duck, goose there? We play it in Kidz club, the children sit in a circle, then one person who's 'on it' walks around the circle tapping people on the head saying, duck, duck, duck, duck, then when they say goose the person who's the goose has to stand up and chase the person who's 'on it' around the circle twice in a race for the now empty seat! The kids love playing it here!

  20. Judy, your pictures are wonderful! I love ducks and geese. My next-door neighbor has a couple of ducks. I commented one day about their quacking, and he apologized. I said, "No, I'm not complaining. I think it's wonderful. When I hear them, it makes me feel like I'm living in the country!"
