Wow, such awesome pictures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, and I believe I have stepped on most of those steps! I was only saying the other day that I would like to see the Ironbridge again. The last time I went was when I was at school, so about 36 years ago.
ReplyDeleteThose photos are beauties, the bridge is my favorite. I don't know if I would like walking down those circular steps though.
ReplyDeleteWell, I've suffered a few odd stairs in my time, experienced a few ups and downs, but... Bad puns aside, that's a pretty impressive display of the steps of Olde England! I'm worried that you might know bits of it better than we natives do. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeletei am in love with all the step photos, all of them.. really beautiful shots and so are the steps themselves and so many different types... also the buildings and roof lines.. awesome shots..
ReplyDeleteGreat post! All those winding stairs! I don't mind climbing to the top if its enclosed; if not, I try not to look down. :-) I too love the last two the best! You have great memories and the photos to remind you.
ReplyDeletea bunch of steps, but some great fences and walls, too! :)
ReplyDeleteA lot of steps to climb, but oh the views! Love the dry stone wall too!
ReplyDeleteLoving the bridge - built in 1779??? Just amazing as well as all the lovely stone steps and walkways!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!! I can't wait for September to come so I can be back into our beloved England.
ReplyDeleteI think I am winded from all those steps. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I have been on a bit of a vacation...and we all need one with this slow spring in Wisconsin! I loved those worn steps...amazing the history there!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos.
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos of steps. Great theme!
ReplyDeleteWas it snowing or raining in the view? I love all the photos. I just love England with all my heart. So many awesome stairways!!!
ReplyDeleteMy knees hurt just looking at those steps! LOL Beautiful views, and some very mysterious looking stairways! Awesome photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to photograph all the different steps you climbed in those famous buildings. Very interesting! I love the last two photos of the footpaths and the stone wall. Beautiful post!
ReplyDeleteThat's neat that you went to James Herriot's museum!
ReplyDeleteYour favorite is mine. It looks straight out of Shadowlands. I was intrigued by the curvy stairs...perhaps because I have a set of my own quirky stairs. I would not like to climb that many.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeleteThank you for that beautiful tour, love the views and the steps too. That bridge is so beautiful. Enjoy your weekend.
Your favorite, is my favorite. Lots of amazing steps. Enjoyed your post!
ReplyDeleteI am one of your newer followers and I am so glad I found you! I love England and wish I could live there! Your photos are so beautiful! Thank you! xo Jen
ReplyDeleteWow what an enjoyable photo images - my two favorites are --#4 and #11
ReplyDeleteBut all of them are beautiful to see the country and very interesting too!
Thanks for sharing all these areas of steps...
Hugs
Great thematic post. Your London hotel is etched in my brain for when the time comes. Interesting seeing the Ironbridge shots, was there last Autumn for the first time.
