  1. Beautiful pictures, and I believe I have stepped on most of those steps! I was only saying the other day that I would like to see the Ironbridge again. The last time I went was when I was at school, so about 36 years ago.

  3. Well, I've suffered a few odd stairs in my time, experienced a few ups and downs, but... Bad puns aside, that's a pretty impressive display of the steps of Olde England! I'm worried that you might know bits of it better than we natives do. Have a lovely weekend.

  5. Great post! All those winding stairs! I don't mind climbing to the top if its enclosed; if not, I try not to look down. :-) I too love the last two the best! You have great memories and the photos to remind you.

  17. Your favorite is mine. It looks straight out of Shadowlands. I was intrigued by the curvy stairs...perhaps because I have a set of my own quirky stairs. I would not like to climb that many.
