If you're like me, the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'halo' is something like what you'd find hovering above an angel in a pre-Renaissance painting. Some have experienced the other kind, as in the photo below, when they need to have a part of their body stabilized to allow healing of bruised nerves and fractured vertebrae. That is the case with Noah. We are told that he will be in traction for at least a month, with this contraption keeping his neck/head rigid. He is 10 years old. This is no easy thing for anyone, but a ten year old boy? A ten year old boy whose head hurts when he laughs, but who needs laughter to keep his spirits up. Quite a dilemma.
Please continue to pray for this youngster. You can read the full story here on my blog. We praise God for His grace in sparing Noah's life and not allowing any major organ damage. As I said before, I don't know any word other than 'miracle' to describe it.

Thank you for the update and photo. Prayers continue.
My nephew had a halo when he was fifteen dived off a boat and the water was too shallow. I will keep him in my prayers.
Poor young fellow, he is very lucky to be alive and I hope he experiences a successful recovery.
oh, sweet guy. heal well!
God love him - literally.
Be strong Noah

Still praying for Noah, Judy.
It has to be tough for the young fellow. May the Lord grant him peace and strength through this all.
How difficult for a 10-year-old boy. This brings back memories of my own son's accident at age 10 - a hit and run car accident. He was in a coma for several days and recovery took about 2 years. We are so grateful for his life.
I will pray for Noah.
Wishing him a speedy and total recovery.
Praying for Noah.
will keep him in my prayers.. i have never seen a halo like this except in movies and in TV specials. i can't even imagine keeping him happy until he heals. my friend Rich spent 11 months in a full body cast when he was 11, he has told me some wild stories, and that helps me understand a little of what Noah wil go through...God bless Noah and his family.
Keeping sweet Noah in my prayers, Blessings Francine.
Be strong Noah there are lots of people out here who are thinking and praying for you. This made me smile. Hug B
Oh, my dear Judy, we are praying for Noah daily. May I ask if there is any paralysis at all?
Also, while I have you, my blog address has changed to Wordpress.

Poor Noah! I have a hard time to stay put at any given time and I am an adult (at least in years!).
Sending lots of prayers to him and his Mum and Dad and much hugs to you.
Noah has shown himself to be a survivor and he will pull through, God's gift to all of you.
Thank you for the update and the photo!
P.S. How about starting a mail call (postcards from everywhere for Noah?) Bloggers around the world are sure to reach out!
Praying for Noah's healing and hope that the month goes by quickly for him. I can't imagine....but so very thankful for God's love for him!
This just breaks my heart. He already has his halo and is now earning his wings. May he continue to heal well and his spirit be invincible!
God bless Noah. He is in my prayers.
Dearest Judy,
I have prayed and I will continue to pray.
Much love to you as well and I hope you have a great week,
Tammy
What a sweet boy :) I hope the month goes by quickly for him and his body recovers completely. Keeping Noah and his family in my prayers. Wendy x
I had missed the earlier post about Noah. Oh my. The dear little guy is going through so much! Praying for God to heal him.
He is so brave! I hope he finds a new way to express his laughter.
That poor sweet baby. Breaks my heart. Will keep praying for his continued healing and well being. Thinking of you all. Sending lots of hugs and support.
Blessings, Valerie
I hate this for him or any one - I pray he will be okay!
I'm so sorry. I'm praying for him.
And may that Grace continue and be sufficient to see Noah through this time of healing and recovery.
Caught up with the story from your original post earlier tonight. Nothing short of a miracle, his life has been spared for a purpose.
