Big Ben, London

 There is no time...

...or at least, very little.

I am hoping to get back on the blogging bandwagon soon. This is such a busy time of year with summer visitors, gardening, day-trips here and there, etc.

Just wanted to take a minute to greet my blogging friends. Those of you along the eastern seaboard, we're thinking of you and praying for your safety. I hope to catch up on your blogs SOON.

Great photos of one of my favorite sites! I have some wonderful pics of Big Ben with a perfect London sky behind. I've been up inside on a special tour-stood right behind the clock face and felt the whole thing vibrate when it chimed. One of the absolute best things I did while living in the UK. They don't allow tourists up anymore, just residents and you have to go thru your MP. It is a lot of steps to climb : )

Enjoy it. Very appropriate photos.
I struggle with blog following at the best of times as there is so much to do ... it seems to be a winter thing !!! I am currently splitting my time between trips away (not always my choice of location) & ... the garden. I didn't do much with it last summer and I'm having to re-dress that balance at the moment.

Beautiful picture of Big Ben, Judy. I miss you! I've been putting up pickles and jams of late. So I understand the busy-ness. Have a wonderful weekend.

You're right, summer is a hard time to blog, but when the sun's out, it's time to be outside. We all know it's such a short season, at least in these parts. Enjoy your family! I'm way behind in blogging too.

Great photo, Judy!
Time.. funny how slowly it seems to go by when you are a kid and how fast it goes as we get older! Take whatever time you need for yourself...we'll be here :)

Gorgeous! That first picture is beautiful! I hope you are well! We are well after the hurricane. That was frightening. I am not sure if I have ever been that frightened. We have no power, but are at my mom's checking e-mails and stopping by to say hi. Have a great week!

LOVE Big Ben! For some reason I was always drawn to it whenever it was in my range of sight. Feeling the craziness here still too! ACK!

One of my favorite memories from London! My mom sent my boys a book about London and they so badly want to go visit and they talk about Big Ben all the time!

Ok, and, one of my favorite lines of all time? Chevy Chase, Vacation? "Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament..." and he's stuck in the rotary going around and around and can't get over and says it again and again...hysterical!

Lots of yummy love,

Judy, when I posted this morning my review of canvas prints, I thought of this photo of Big Ben and your other beautiful photos, pet portraits, grandchildren. Check it out, this might be something you could use. Of course, I do not profit in any way (thought I should add that for the benefit of your readers who might think I'm "plugging" something!).
