Fences and Gates and Goats

Make sure to get the right side of my face, okay?

This little guy was so rambunctious. While I was trying to get his photo, he was running helter skelter around the barnyard, then suddenly stopped and hopped onto the wagon. I think he wanted to pose for the shot. Just look at that evil eye, and all because I suggested he needed a bath?

Somebody must be home.
And this one doesn't read, 'No Trespassing.'

Gate Sampler
I have a suspicion that these came from different farm auctions.

Love the Amish buggy!!! I remember one time we came upon one in rural Missouri in our travels, with traffic backed up, creeping along...and when we finally saw what the delay in zipping through the countryside, it was an AWESOME sight to see.

The goat is such a darling...right side, wrong side...any side, darling!!!

I never get tired of seeing those buggies since none exist in this part of the country. I hope the goat was friendly.

Love your goat picture. The story made me laugh. =) Sounds like our puppy Tia when her bath time rolls around. Blessings and Sunshine, Valerie

I would never dream of giving one of my goats a bath. Maybe you deserved the evil eye.

Love the goat, he looks a cheeky one!

That's exactly what that goat is saying! Does he have a name? It should be dignified...no Billy Goat or anything.

I did not realise there are Amish in Wisconsin, at least I don't remember. The assembly of gates and the goat gave me a laugh.

Love the gate assortment! The goat reminds me of the time my parents had a 13-year-old grandson living with them for a year and someone sold my mother a pygmy (not sure of the spelling) goat she thought would be a nice pet for the boy. As the goat grew larger and larger, my father was fond of saying to my mother "That guy sure saw you coming!"

I want a goat. My mother and I are always wishing we had a fainting goat in particular. I think they're so cute. (What we really need though is a donkey, for keeping the snakes away!)
