Weekend with the Fam

 Mr. Cranberry & Youngest Grandson

On the train at Marathon Park
He was saying 'CHEESE' with every muscle he could muster.

We had a great weekend with our daughter and children who have just moved to Wisconsin. Dad was still in Indiana, finishing up a few things before moving up to join the fam in a few days. It is so nice to have them just 2 hours away! And it was wonderful to see the grandkids. We are looking forward to lots of day trips in the future. And I'll post other photos when I get them.

ON THE WAY HOME:

St. Hedwig's Church
(between Thorp and Withee)

This bell tower stands a few feet away from the church ,
which is now empty, having combined with St. Bernard's in Thorp

Also in front of the church, this sign

I agree, a very precious photo with your grandson and hubby. I was wondering if that church was Polish with the name of Hedwig, which is a very common first name for Polish women.

What a cutie! So glad they are closer to you now! I am always amazed by the scenery of your state. For some reason I always think industry when I think midwest/north but there are so many farms and so much history!

Sounds like a fun time! I love churches, especially older ones with the beautiful steeples.
