Strawberries from our backyard
Mr. C. came in carrying a little bowl of berries for me during an especially frustrating time last evening when I was having trouble with my laptop that seems to have all sorts of issues right now, (I mean Really! It's one thing after another) and something as easy as printing out a shipping label became a multi-problem, big deal task.
I've not been blogging as much, as you may have noticed. If I could post from my Kindle, I'd do it, but haven't figured out how. Anyway, I've missed you all and I'm going to try to get to posts today. We'll see how it goes.
I wanted to try to get a couple fence pics in here and join in Theresa's Good Fences. There's something about barns and fences that always appeals to me, and evidently to others as well.

(I don't remember if I posted this earlier or not. Unfortunately, I'm not out and about getting new photos, so I'm dredging
the archives.)

The Strawberry Man just popped in with a refill, but I passed on it and will eat the berries for breakfast tomorrow instead. There's nothing like fresh strawberries that have been allowed to sit on the vine in the sunshine long enough to get sweet. Amazing taste!
Speaking of amazing taste, a friend stopped in today, bringing with her a treat of watermelon. I don't even remember the last time I ate watermelon, but boy was it delicious! Summertime: strawberries and watermelon. Can't beat 'em.
I'm thanking God today for good friends, a kind and thoughtful husband, animals we love, and delicious summer fruit.
Have a wonderful Thursday, everyone.

Hello Judy, I love the barns and fence scenes. Your kitty is adorable. Fresh picked strawberries are the best, Yum! I have not tried watermelon yet but summer is only just starting. Wish you a speedy recovery, take care. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
You always make me smile, waving to Tupperance and the "Strawberry Man" (giggling). I hope you get to feeling better soon and start getting mobile...miss you...I hope you figure out what's up with computer.
adorable tuppence. yum on the strawberries! good watermelon is tough to beat, too. thanks, always, for the fence and barn views. :)
p.s. loved the old granary/garage and red fence.
Tuppence reminds me of Abbi a cat i used to own she looked just like yours. that granary/ garage and red fence pic is priceless. loved it. i too love old barns or abandoned houses. strawberries= delicious. not a fan of watermelon though, sigh... hope all is well. have a great day~
ps. hope you figure out how to fix your computer issue. my last issue cost me my external harddrive. lost everything... so, i understand.
I think we may have to try growing strawberries next year. I'd love to try one that was sweetened by sunshine, fresh from the vine.
it is good you have tuppence to keep you company.... that photo of the berries is beautiful. wish i were there, i would show you how to post from your Kindle if it is a kindle fire you can.. it will do the same thing your computer does, think tiny computer. phooey on the laptop problems, doesn't it know you are confined? i love the granary pic, really beautiful...
Nice to see your post. Hope things are going well with your health. It certainly looks like friends and family are bringing you treats!!
xx, Carol
I know all about laptop problems! Makes me crazy! I have been eating so many strawberries I think I will turn into one!! Hope you are feeling better every day, dear Judy!!
Hallo, I love your beautiful photos. Yes, friends are a blessing! An strawberry too. Watermelon, good idea!
I always enjoy your barn and fence photos . . .
Happy you have friends stopping by for visits . . .
Watermelon and strawberries sound like great "feel better" medicines!
I wonder if you can get the Blogsy app on your kindle and post with it?
I use Blogsy to post from my iPad . . .
Electronic issues can become very frustrating when you don't feel well. I hope everything is better this morning.
I know our devices can be so frustrating. I'm sure the strawberries helped a lot though. Love your country fences.
Judy, I'm so jealous! I, too, have a kind and thoughtful husband; but I *don't* have Tuppence and strawberries in my garden! Hope your recovery is going smoothly.
Such a sweet cat Judy. Love the barn and hope your laptop gets sorted out soon.
Such a sweet look at Tuppence. Great fence photos, too. Someday you must tell how Tuppence got his/her name.
I know you are ready to be back to everything you want to do! The strawberries look wonderful. I bought all kinds of fruit at the store this morning...even Washington cherries. Love the barns and fences! Take care of yourself...go slow! Hugs, Diane
Hi sweet Judy! I hope you are doing well and feeling much better :) It was an absolute joy to visit you today. Those strawberries look divine and your photos were a delight to look at.
Enjoy the upcoming weekend. Hugs!
I love strawberries and they should be ripe for picking here in another week or so. I also love fences and barns and your photos of these ones are so nice. Take care of yourself and I wish you continued healing. Blessings. Pam
I'm sorry that you've been having laptop troubles. Technology can be a blessing, yet also so frustrating at times! Those strawberries look delicious. I enjoyed your photos, as always.
Sorry about the computer troubles..it seems we all have to go through that at least every year or so. I'm jealous of your hand-delivered, fresh off the vine strawberries....YUMMY! Have a great day!
Hi Judy! I hope you are getting along well. Those beautiful strawberries look scrumptious...our local ones are long gone but have actually been able to find some fairly tasty ones at the grocery lately! Your barns and fences are so lovely. Take good care!
Well I do agree with you on the Fresh Strawberries but I'll need to pass on the Watermelon - It was so nice of your friend to bring you some.
Great fence shots. I liked them both.
Hope you are doing well and recovering quickly.
Judy, your photo of those lovely strawberries is gorgeous! You should make a copy and hang it in your kitchen.
I do hope your recovery is going well. I know it's hard to not be able to do all that you want. Take care of yourself, dear one. xo ♥
I'm feeling bad that on top of being limited in getting around, your computer is acting up. It can be so frustrating. The strawberries look delicious and to pop them in your mouth right from the vine (or nearly) must be an incredible experience! We appreciate our friends even more when we are set aside or need the help they bring. It looks like you have a very faithful friend at your side.
How kind of your beloved to bring you bowls of strawberries!!
I hate it when my old computer has fits, or our internet supplier goes for a vacation once in a while. I like how comfy the cat is, It is a nice cat. I have been picking raspberries every other day. We don't have lots. I love strawberries.
Glad you had those delicious summertime treats. Pretty photos too!
Love that second barn/fence picture....and I wish I had some of those strawberries.
I love the pictures of the barns and fences you post and your cat, Tuppence, too. Hope you are feeling better and recovering well. Praying.
Beautiful barn and fences shots...I too am enjoying fresh strawberries this June. Oh the SCENT even before the taste! :)
Love your beautiful photos, as always my Friend!
Just take the time you need and heal up properly dear Lady! Patience is a virtue they say. Lol ;)
Strawberries and watermelon could possibly be 2 of the best things about summertime in my book!!
Blessings on a wonderful weekend ahead. xoxo
Hi Judy, happy to hear from you. Great picture of Tuppence. I love strawberries and that white barn is a beauty. Make your health the priority
Cindy
Beautiful strawberries..Tis the season!! Glad you aren't missing out..Watermelon too..Yum..Must get some...I hope your recovery is progressing well...Have a good weekend..
Hello Judy,
There's really nothing to compare with strawberries ripe and warm from the sun. I hope you continue to mend. Summer is a good time to take it easy.
As soon as I typed that last sentence I thought about my garden, some canning I'd like to do and realized that summer can be as busy as we make it.
Ive just stumbled across your blog and Im pretty sure Ive visited before.. (good grief.. this memory is awful! ) anyways, I love your blog and want to remember to come back, so Im adding you to my side bar!
I hope you have a lovely sunday!
xoxo

Lovely and delicious strawberries and I like the barn-turned-garage.
Checking in...love the strawberries and of course the photo of Tuppence.
Hello Judy
Oh those strawberries look delicious ...
Love the photo's of the barn and the fences too.
All the best Jan
There's something about that fence and building in the Westby area. I can recommend fresh fruit with Greek yogurt and a liberal spoonful of honey :-)
Such beautiful photos!! Stunning! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Thanks for reminding me I have a small watermelon in the fridge! Tuppence looks comfy. What a sweet companion. Great hubby, too!
