I can look at this photo and smell the warm summer air.

Such pretty creatures. I think they are Brown Swiss.
We'll soon be seeing this in our alfalfa field.
First crop is nearly ready.

Fence? What fence?
I'm sure sheep aren't actually snuggly, but...

You can see summer is in the air!
And who said sheep were thick!! He managed to get over the fence to finds the corn to eat.
I love the warmer weather, especially after this past winter! Love the cows and the cute sheep! Great fence shots! Enjoy your day!

I'm a little behind in visiting this week with many things going on. I like your fences, cows and sheep. I guess the full corn crib was worth "breaking out" for. :) Have a great day and enjoy the sunshine. We hope to hit 70 here today. Yippee.!!
Morning, great looking fence, sheep and such pretty cows, Blessings Francine.
Nice, summery pictures. So wonderful after THAT winter!
I love your pastoral photos, Judy.
I'm enjoying some nice warm weather, finally, too!
Oh, Judy, I love your photos...every single one of them.
Love your header, too. :)
Over from GOOD FENCES...
Love seeing the combines at work and the smell of fresh cut grasses, clover and whatever else is in there!! That sheep knows what is in that container!! Poor dear - chicken wire is in the way!!
The sheep are hungry for a snack! Looks like a busy time in your part of the country. It's getting up to 90 here every day...too hot for hikes! Enjoy your day! Hugs!
Oh my this brings back memories of my youth and alfalfa fields and the rank odor of the alfalfa mills nearby the farming communities.
Love the farm photos. Have a great day.
loved all the scenes. they bring smiles to my wisconsin heart. :) the corn crib was a good memory (although we didn't have sheep to raid it). and the chopper into the wagon - i could almost smell it!
Beautiful pictures. I always enjoy them...it's like taking a little walk.
Great fences.
Nice scenery and animals.
That sheep looks snuggly. :) Love the seasoned fence and the cows. I also enjoy seeing farmers at work. Enjoyable post!
I always love your farm updates.
Love the fences! Especially the one with the flowers! It's been 80 here too.
love the sheep.. and the truck and tractor thingy... the first one is beautiful, fence and flowers, nothing better
Enjoyed all these photos and the first one does evoke a summer on the farm feeling
Farms, fences, animals...warm weather harvest - all good.
Seriously - swimming when it hits 80°? Oh my gosh, that brought back memories! When I was 9 years old, my grandmother got me a pass to the local swimming pool. It cost $18.00!! That was a lot of money back then. I could ride my bike there, and - times being what they were - I was allowed to do that by myself....but only when it got to be 80°. Sneaky me, figured out I could put a warm dishrag on the outside thermometer gauge, which you could read from the kitchen window. It was ALWAYS 80°. I was a brat (who loved to go to the pool)!! I did confess, years and years later.
Love the shot of the lamb eating corn! I chuckled when you were talking about Mr. Cranberry the other day.
Love that field picture! It brings back lots of good memories!!
Now that's my comfort zone, too. We have been outside making hay while the sun shines. We have another week of rain ahead. Glad that good days have arrived.
The choppers have been running here too! How did it get to be this time of year already?!
I can see the sheep have already been snacking on the corn! I think he looks cuddly, too!
Wonderful series of shots. Lots of activity there on the farm. Loved the shot of the sheep with the corn and the machinery in the field.
Ahhh...country life is a wonderful thing...GREAT photos! Love the sheep :)
I think I'll go buy a bottle of alfalfa pills at the health food store to sniff while looking at your gorgeous photo! I love the smell of alfalfa fields. You and I are on the same wavelength ideal temperature-wise, too.
I enjoyed your last post as well as this one. These fences look so worthy, like they are hard at work, and they probably are. A nice variety. Glad you are having some nice warm weather, but not too hot!
82? Wow, it sure has warmed up in the past week! Folks in these parts really start to whine when the thermometer goes above 80. Sometimes it even make headlines. LOL
Would love to live in the country.
looks like the sheep wants a treat or 2. ( :
Love the sheep shot, like the backdrop to the image.
What gorgeous photos. And from a woman after my own heart.... with my favorite summer temperature range exactly: 63-73!
Oh happy day! Lots going on here!
I know what you mean about that first pic, it does make you think of warm days. The sheep struck gold there.
Glad you're finally having "swimming" weather! :)
And, of course, I love the victorious sheep.
I always so enjoy the pictures you show us. I like old fences and gates. Always wondering what is behind them.
Cynthia
I just love seeing your pictures! :-) I'm trying to talk the family into heading north for our summer vacation. I love Hilton Head, but it's just a bit too hot for this girl down there. Should be finishing the last bean filed here, the girls' last day of school is June 4th, and so I can county my last "quiet house to myself days" on two hands! YIKES!
Love the sheep ~ great shot for SC ~ xoxo

Hello, just stopping back to say thank you for linking up with my critter party. Have a happy weekend!
Hi Judy. I just returned from the New England and it was so different to see very little fencing.
Warm weather for you. Cloudy and cool here in Oregon.
Linda
Love these shots of farm fences and the critters they protect.
You have some wonderful country images here. It feels like a visit to the real country - it's lovely.
I love the name of your blog! So I guess sheep are dump, they figured out how to get some sweet corn! I love weather up to about 85, more than that I wilt. Thank you for stopping by my post on determinate/inderterminate tomatoes. Love the nature shots.
I'm lovin' the warm weather! The beauty of this spring amazes me each day...did the long winter make spring so much more appreciated this year? I love your grandmothers temperature comment. I always told my kids they could wear shorts to school if it was over 50. They checked the weather every morning! (o:
