Another beautiful Episcopal Church. I miss the red door on this one, but there is red on the notice sign :-) I am so happy to be a part of this communion. Judy sent me a link to the original decree from the Church of England, and then you gave us the link to our Bishop and what he had to say regarding the issues in question. You seem to be at the same temps up and over there where you are as we are in Iowa. The building itself looks a lot like church designed in northern Minnesota. I think it interesting to see the original church founders are asking questions of the churches over here.

A beautiful stone church. I've followed some of the news on Facebook about the changes/differences with American Episcopal and the Church of England. It will be interested to see how it all shakes out.
Well, I guess I'll be the first to say what I think. the Episcopal church, which I grew up in and loved and would love to go back to but can't because of what they're doing, should be censured. It's more than just one issue, too. They've strayed far from Biblical teaching. For example, my mom's Episcopal priest says she's hoping there's no hell. Hey, I'd like to believe that, too, but I didn't write the Bible. The Episcopalians are picking and choosing what they want to believe.
I think the Episcopal prayer book (1928) is beautiful. I would love to go back. But they'd have to do a major about face.
Okay, I've had my say. :) Hope we're still friends.
Oh, and they have beautiful churches, too.
