Barn just down the road
Good morning, everyone! It's Thursday, and time for more Wisconsin barns and good fences.
That country road near our house that I showed you on Monday
The same road in October. A color scheme I much prefer.
Photo taken from the car, about a mile from our house.
It's another view I love. I'm so grateful for rolling hills.
The neighbor's horses in winter
The horses look cold, don't they!
'Moo...Help!'

such lovely pictures.
Beautiful....want more snow? We have plenty and still snowing, LOL. Blessings
Love my Wisconsin Cranberry views . . .
Barns, rolling hills, country road . . .
Wonderful post . . .
Beautiful Fall image of the same snowy road....but that TOO is gorgeous. From here...where it's dry, sunny and balmy this past week.
You always share such good fence images. I'm a farmer's daughter.
the horses do look cold, also they look like they have a winter coat. LOVE the cows.. and the road is beautiful white or color... i prefer the color for walking down that road
i liked the winter/summer comparisons. :) thanks for the dose o' wis, again. :)
oooooh judy, i LOVE the comparison shots!! it sure helps to explain the need for all seasons!!!!
those are some especially beautiful cows!!!!
Love the photo's Judy, but it sure looks cold!
Followers from down south...always say, "how can you live there? It's so cold" Well, look at the view, the change in seasons, the solitude....this post explains it all.
Beautiful photos!
We have rolling hills here, too. I love them!
I love looking at your beautiful Wisconsin Country photos Judy. It is truly a beautiful area.
Judy, I love your rolling hills and country roads (moreso in October than February, I agree) and old barns. Visiting your blog is always a mini-vacation for me.
Lovely scenes. That October photo is stunning!
Looks like my neck of the woods with all the horses. In Ky. horses everywhere. Your photos are perfect. The one of the snowy road is my favorite photo but of course love the colors better in real life.
October looks much nicer!
Oh I enjoy your whole sensibility
You live in an area with definite seasons for sure. Enjoyed scrolling through your photos!
Even though its so snowy, i love seeing your Wisconsin this time of year! Beautiful countryside views as i love rolling hills too.
Poor horses do look shivery!
hope you have a great day!
Obviously, Spring is taking its sweet time arriving in your area.
Love the snow photos: your area is beautiful in all seasons.
Of corse Spring and Fall offer the most beautiful nuances and colours, but I love Winter so much ... its light, its short days and its snow are so comforting to me !
Enjoy the rest of your week, my dearest Judy,
sending blessings
Dany
I am always surprised to remember the rolling hills of Wisconsin having grown up in the very flat neighboring state. I guess I'm with you and prefer the autumn color of your pretty road, but the snow is still a fantastic photo!
Oh what lovely country sides...no matter what season. I love the contrast between photos #2 and #3...just beautiful!
Rolling hills do make for very picturesque photos. Loved the country road and I agree the fall view is the one I would prefer too over all that snow. So cold. It feels quite chilly here today even though it's in the low 50's.
Wisconsin's nature is beautiful, Judy. And their barns are so charming. I would love to see this its countryside one day. I just took a drive through our town, and the Pink blossom trees are already blooming. Spring may come early this year.

The horses look so cuddly with their longer hair, and I do LOVE red barns. They stand out so beautifully. Have a good Friday xx
I love your photos and those barns and rolling hills. Yes, the horses do look cold. I hope the barn is open for them to seek shelter!
I particularly like the 2nd and 3rd shots, CM. Wonderful. And I loved the 'don't trespass without permission' sign in your previous post - you couldn't make it up!
Your photos are beautiful. Great captures in different seasons. The barn photo is awesome. I just love red barns. The horses do look cold but I am sure being together they keep warmer then we realize. Thanks for sharing your talents with your camera. Have a great rest of the week. xo
Afternoon, love all the pictures, those Horses are so beautiful.Blessings Francine.
I especially love your first two photos Judy and the old red barn is beautiful.
You may think I'm mad but I would love to live where there are 4 definite seasons!
The provence in NZ where I live is warmer than other parts of the country and we miss out on the vibrant colours of Autumn - we still get Autumn colours but they are softer.
Yes the horses will be miserable - I wonder why they don't have coats to keep them warm?
You live in a very pretty part of the world but much too cold for me. Lovely contrast today.
The snow sure makes a beautiful background! I love that big barn...WOW! Enjoy your week! Stay warm. Hugs, Diane
That barn is so classic in both color and style.
Hi my blogger friend. I always enjoy your beautiful photos. I love to drive through different places and see all the barns sprinkled here and there.
Beautiful photos !
I love the two views of the country road. Have a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful pictures of the lovely countryside..Have a fun weekend...
I LIKE your snowy country road...it is winter after all : ) Well for some of us, anyway :)
I love both those views...right now the green one appeals more but the other is sure beautiful. I love the rolling hills, too.
Very pretty in all seasons. The horses so look a bit chilled, but they have that nice thick coat- which I hope keeps them warm. Love the country road.
Gorgeous photos...you could make your own calendar! :-)
I love your photos, especially the roads. Have a great weekend!
Love the cattle and horses in the snow. Have a lovely weekend.
Oh my goodness, you take beautiful photos or maybe you take great photos of beautiful scenes! Love seeing the snow, but will continue to tolerate our AZ desert summers so I can enjoy our fall, winter and spring.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for following along. I am now following you on GFC. I have one of those fur-baby assistants, too, and her name is Abby.
Warm hugs,
Carol
Oh my, look at those horses, so beautiful. And what a charming red barn. I could look at the snow around your neck of the woods for days.

Oh it does look cold in your part of the world. We are currently sweltering in 40 degree (Celsius) heat. I do feel for the animals out in the extremes. Enjoyed your photos.
Judy, the hills are so wonderful. I really do miss them when we're here in flatland Florida! But the October road pic is by far my favorite view of the two... I know I wouldn't handle the winter cold and snow well .. (Or even Oregons gray cold rainy days) and that is why we're here in no-hill Florida. Life is a trade off! I hope you don't have too much more winter this year!
I like the road better in autumn too and perhaps it will be nice in spring. Spring is coming, right? :-)
Love your photos capturing all the seasons. :-)
Beautiful winter photos!
Good morning, I love the cows and the horses. I assume they find a way to keep warm. I love the views of the road in both seasons. I am looking forward to spring. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week!
The rolling hills truly are lovely, I heard a rumour that spring is getting ever closer. ;)
I think I would like Wisconsin.
:0)
Judy...It was so nice seeing the contrast between the road in the winter and the “more comfy” part of the year. Your bark is so pretty. It is such a nice one. I was just thinking...my "second daughter” lives in Neenah. Are you anywhere near there. I have always said I was going to make the trip to go and see her, but I just am SO AFRAID of flying plus my back does not do well. She says it is so cold up there. I have known her all of her life and want so to see her again one time. Hope you all are well and having a nice warmish weekend. We have more snow coming this week...let’s hope the weather men got it wrong. I am ready to become a snow bird like Sallie. This continual cold weather is killing me :-) Hugs.
Beautiful countryside Judy. Thanks for sharing this week at The Barn Collective. I hope to see some more barns from your winter wonderland soon.
You are surrounded by beauty. I like that October view, but the snowy one still has its appeal.
I like the seasonal comparison of the two roads with the lovely red barn in the first providing some great colour.
