Morning has broken
It was only 43 degrees F. on the porch yesterday morning, but it was a beautiful, sunny morning! I take my phone with me and listen to the USCCB Daily Scripture Readings, a great way to start my day.

Yes, I am grateful every single day for this view, even in the winter.
(Perhaps a bit more grateful May through October, however)
Lots of work on the Dallas house this week.
New back deck, new paint, new lattice.
Will someone please bring a body bag.
Oh wait. I guess he's just working on something under the bench.
False alarm.
Two someones stopped in to see us.

*Note that the LORD coming to judge the earth is a good thing, in which all of creation rejoices - because only He is the just and merciful King, and at last all the wrongs will be righted and all the hurts healed. Our God reigns!

Can you believe that Tuesday is already October 1?! Wisconsin often has gorgeous Octobers. I hope this is one of them.

You get some beautiful autumn color in your neck of the woods! We had snow this weekend. The last time this happened was in the 1920's!
I am jealous of the beauty of God you see there. It is pretty here - but not gorgeous! You will definitely have a beautiful October. Only in the 40's. It has been in the 90's about 100 days this summer - a record. Another week is coming. I could use a change. Your home is beautiful and so are the two that stopped by! sandie

It will surely be a beautiful October there. I always look forward to October except for some of the decor that creeps me out when God’s pouring His beauty out so spectacularly.
I am so jealous of that 43 degrees, we have been in the 90's every single day since the first week of april and I long for cool weather. I will take anything below 75 right now.. that view from your coffee cup made me think, beauty as far as the eye can see... wow what a view. ha ha on the body bag... precious grandson....

Judy, really, "body bag" - you are hilarious! Oh how I love that house. Whoever buys your place is surely going to feel all the love. Prospective buyers are going to walk in and say "This house has such a good feeling to it."
