Fresh Melon Sorbet and Neighborhood Photos

Fresh Melon Sorbet
Handmade Soap

One thing I like about making soap is that I never have to use soap that dries out my skin and leaves it feeling like a baked potato.

I was ready for a summery fresh melon fragrance in a soap bar with a great lather that leaves your skin feeling soft and silky. Who doesn't like that.

I think you'll love the mild, fruity scent of Fresh Melon Sorbet Homemade Soap. With all-natural base oils, natural colorant to make that visually interesting swirl, and a quality fragrance oil, Fresh Melon Sorbet will bring a luscious, uplifting freshness to your morning shower or evening bath.

All the details can be found at  Homemade Soap'n'Such.

  Soap'n'Such
Father's Day Special
ends this Friday, June 16.
Don't miss it!

And now, for a couple photos taken with my cell phone on my walk today:

 Yellow, purplish-red, and white
I thought these plants in the ditch were so pretty.

Poor little Monarch with a torn wing
Surrounded by Poison Ivy
There's a ton of it in the ditches.

The lane to the neighbor's house
Notice the flowers growing in the driveway.

It was a beautiful morning for a walk
in summer green Wisconsin.

There is such beauty in the country! We all tend our urban yards and make them beautiful. But, in the country God tends those gardens and they are gorgeous! Thanks you for sharing a bit of your neighborhood!

Such beautiful pictures of your neighborhood... everything is so green and lush. You tend to forget that there are places like that when all you see is dry desert landscape! lol

Didn't know you lived in Wisconsin. Not sure how I missed that info, but hubby is currently in Wisconsin working on a huge Army exercise with troops from all over. He'll be there till the end of the month. Your soap looks beautiful. And I love the photo of the neighbor's lane to their house. Enjoy your day.

Nothing like summer in Wisconsin. We have been having such gorgous weather! But no rain.....not for a week and a half......weird. Especially in June, it is usually like the Emerald Isle here!

That last photo could be a lane some where in England!

That's Poison Ivy? Is it a vine? I have something very much like that growing in my front garden. Tried to find out some photos and if it grew up here, but they are not clear enough to figure out.

I was taken in by the sorbet title too, but in the nicest way...I would be the first in line to buy some but I can't use scented products...my loss truly my loss.

The only way I like melon is - fresh water melon or honey do. I probably spelled that wrong. I don't even like watermelon flavored gum - grandkids do though.

Your melon soap looks like it would smell wonderful!! Your soap making blog is so inspiring to me, a complete beginner at making soap. Lovely photography too!

It must be nice to have a lane to your house like that one! And that poor Monarch...hope she doesn't know her wing is so damaged. Your soap looks wonderful! We have a lady who makes soap near us, and she is marketing it about town. I always wanted to try making soap...but now I'm content just to buy a bar now and then.
