Fall is fleeting! I have another post of woods photos, and then I think that's it. The plants are covered again, for we're expecting a frost tonight. We should get more days of color from the mums and salvia, if I keep them covered at night.
I spent time today taking cuttings from the jade to establish new plants from the mother plant. The mother plant, about 3' in diameter originally, is going to be left outdoors, its limbs greatly shortened, while her babies stay cozy indoors for the winter. A mother's sacrifice. And there is just a limit to the space available to house plants for the winter. As it is, there are already 16 plants brought in for the winter.
