Wisconsin Barns and Good Fences

I always post my own photos of Wisconsin barns, but when my daughter sent me this one, how could I resist! It has all the right features: Red barn, cute stone silo, weathered fence, green springtime Wisconsin grass.

I'm now calling her 'my Wausau correspondent.'

 'and then he said...'

This little 14 month old girl loves books and hats. Most of the photos we get lately show her wearing a hat - and she puts it on herself! I think she needs a little pink handbag.

What a stunning barn, your daughter did an amazing job of capturing it! I have to admire your grand daughter's taste; I, too, love hats and books.

Adorable children, Judy. I see the resemblance with your daughter. Our Gwynn loves books and just yesterday we spent a great deal of time reading many of her favorites. Hats and books - a winning combination. :)What a beautiful old barn and silo. Deb

Love the barn photo. A previous barn post got me to thinking of all the barns that are no more around me. So I have been snapping a few that remain for a future blog.
Beautiful family.

We vacation each year in Chetek, WI fishing. One of the best parts of the drive there is seeing some of the beautiful farms and particularly the barns. WI is a beautiful state.
You have a beautiful daughter, and sweet grands. I believe a handbag would be a nice addition to the hat. What a sweet toddler!

Too bad I don't get points for using the word 'beautiful'. :D

Your "correspondent" did a great job...and she has a beautiful family!!
I love that the little girl loves hats! I had a little hat-girl myself. It apparently skipped a generation because my mother loves wearing hats, but I do not.

Reading books and the hats. She sure knows her preferences at that age.
