...and a sweet photo I can label 'Throwback Thursday.'
(when grandsons were staying with us and we visited Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls)
Cattle on a farm east of Westby, WI
Same farm, but I wanted to get that weathered barn and windmill
I think that white panel is supposed to be some sort of fence too.
Maybe there's a pig pen behind it. Just guessing.
Or maybe they didn't have anyplace else to store it.
I'm speaking from experience. Don't judge.

Judy, I love your photos. And that header photo is outstanding -- all blues and browns, then that tiny shot of red in just the right spot. Perfect. Glad you're enjoying May and the end of winter.
sweet little grands. :) like the old weathered building and windmill.
no judging from me... you should see our yard... or maybe NOT.... i love that turtle fountain and would like to have one like it... also love the farm pics and of course the sweet cows
Hello, cute shot of the grandkids. I am sure you all had a great time at the park. I love the windmill and the cows. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
Sweet boys and wonderful photography and neat fences ~
Happy Weekend to you ~ ^_^
I can only imagine how fun grandsons can be. I always enjoy fences with animals behind them. Hope you have a good Memorial weekend.
We really enjoyed Wisconsin last year. So many beautiful farms and fences.
Now I'm heading to read your hodgepodge. Let me just say I enjoy each and every one of your instagram pictures. They add some spice to my day!
Nice post. - Fun to look back at the kiddos photos - They grow up so fast.
I love old weathered barns & windmills.
Yeah I'd say they must have put the white panels up for some reason.
Hmmmm....makes me think I need a windmill. Love the new header shot!
Always lovely photos here, Judy. I love the first shot and of course Jake's Black Faced sheep! Have a nice evening. ♥
Love, love, love the photos you posted...have a beautiful weekend, friend.
I have been lax in commenting here, though I have been reading your posts. I have to tell you that you and Rose have me paying much more attention to the scenery as we are driving in the country. We take the scenic route to Ft. Wayne Indiana every month or so to visit the VA hospital. People don't realize that Indiana has rolling hills in all our farmland. I never ask my husband to stop and take pictures, though I'm sure he would if I asked. Anyway, you two have me paying attention to things I never noticed before.
xx, Carol
That is a SERIOUS turtle!
:)
Lots of lovely scenes here ! :)
Always think old farm buildings are so much nicer than new ones. I doubt the new ones will weather to look so good.
Love your new header..Great photos..The old barns have character..Enjoy your weekend.
Love the windmill and the old weathered buildings. Have a wonderful weekend.
I always love your photos!! I miss the country.
Judy - Amazing photos as always. There is so much beauty in Wisconsin, isn't there? It really is a pretty state with all of its well-kept farms and fields. Your pictures depict it beautifully. xo Diana
HI Judy! those are pretty pictures! Sure looks quiet and peaceful out there in the country!
