Lower left corner of photo is the memorial to Pennsylvania Senator William Bingham who served in the U.S. Senate from 1795-1801. A few years after his Senate service, he moved to England where his daughters lived, looking to establish 'full freedom of trade' with Britain. He died in Bath in 1804 and is buried in Bath Abbey.
